Training in traditional building skills, using materials that have been used in our area for hundreds of years, such us stone, slate, lime mortar and thatch, was offered to a broad range of people. These were undertaken at various locations across the project and work in partnership with like-minded organisations to ensure the work is undertaken to a high standard.<\/p>\n

Our first training session was run by Craig Frew of Frew Conservation<\/a> and was held at Megginch Estate, near Errol.\u00a0 The trainees were given thorough training in lime mortar repair and rebuilding a typical historic boundary wall.<\/p>\n
